1 loaf of French bread
1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
1 cup Alfredo sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1/4 cup diced red bell pepper
1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
1/4 cup diced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons olive oil
Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional
Salt and pepper, to taste
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cut the French bread loaf in half lengthwise, creating two long halves. Place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic, onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
Spread the Alfredo sauce evenly over the cut side of each French bread half.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the Alfredo sauce.
Spread the cooked chicken evenly over the cheese layer.
Top with the sautéed vegetables, sliced mushrooms, and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the baking sheet with the prepared pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
Garnish with fresh basil leaves, if desired.
Slice the pizza into individual servings and serve hot.
