Ingredients
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef (80–90% lean)
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 24 square wonton wrappers
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for 6–8 minutes. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning with 2–3 tablespoons of water. Cook for another 1–2 minutes until well coated.
- Press one wonton wrapper into each muffin cup.
- Sprinkle a small amount of cheddar cheese into the bottom of each wrapper.
- Add about one tablespoon of seasoned beef into each cup.
- Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 10–14 minutes, or until the wonton edges are golden brown and crispy and the cheese is melted.
- Allow the taco cups to cool for 3–5 minutes before removing from the muffin tin.
