Ingredients
- 2 Granny Smith apples
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup divided sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 teaspoon. Vanilla extract
- 8 canned BISCUITE (I use Pillsbury milk)
- 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
How to make
Preheat oven 375 degrees.
Peel the apples, take out the core, and cut each one vertically into 8 slices.
Cover it with cold water so it doesn’t turn brown while you make the rest of the recipe.
Mix the water, 3/4 cup of sugar, butter, and vanilla in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.
Cut each cookie in half.
Wrap the biscuit dough layer around a slice of apple, stretch it so that it overlaps slightly, and close the bottom.
Place the wrapped slices in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
Pour the hot sugar mixture over the slices of apple.
Mix the cinnamon with the last 1/4 cup of sugar and sprinkle it on top of the cabbage apple tops.
Bake for 35 minutes, or until the top is golden.
Warm it up and put vanilla ICE CREAM on top!
Enjoy !
