Ingredients

  • 2 pounds smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch rounds
  • 2 pounds baby potatoes, halved
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Place the sliced smoked sausage and halved baby potatoes into a 6-quart slow cooker.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, Dijon mustard, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce evenly over the sausage and potatoes. Stir gently to coat everything well.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are fork-tender.
  5. Stir once or twice during cooking if possible to distribute the sauce evenly.
  6. When the potatoes are tender and the sauce has thickened slightly, give everything a final stir.
