These cheesy onion fries are the ultimate no-fuss comfort food.
Made with frozen fries and simple pantry ingredients, this slow cooker
recipe delivers melty, savory goodness—perfect for parties, holidays,
or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 (28–32 oz) bag frozen crinkle-cut french fries
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of onion soup
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 (1 oz) packet dry onion soup mix

Directions

  1. Lightly spray a 4–6 quart slow cooker with nonstick spray.
  2. Add frozen fries and spread evenly.
  3. Mix cream of onion soup with dry onion soup mix.
  4. Pour mixture over fries and spread lightly.
  5. Sprinkle 3/4 cup cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2–3 hours or LOW for 4–5 hours.
  7. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and let melt (5–10 minutes).
  8. Serve warm directly from the slow cooker.
