Cheesy crescent roll-ups are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or snack that can be enjoyed any time. With a golden, flaky exterior and a gooey, cheesy interior, these roll-ups are sure to be a hit at any gathering. Here’s how to make these delightful treats at home.

Ingredients
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 slices of cheddar or Swiss cheese
8 slices of deli ham or turkey (optional)
2 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Poppy seeds or sesame seeds for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease a baking dish.
Prepare the Crescent Rolls:
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
Place one slice of cheese and one slice of ham or turkey (if using) on each triangle. Roll up the triangles starting from the wide end toward the point, encasing the filling.
Arrange and Season:
Place the rolled-up crescents on the prepared baking sheet or dish.
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture over the tops of the roll-ups.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and poppy seeds or sesame seeds if desired.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Serve and Enjoy:
Allow the roll-ups to cool slightly before serving. They are perfect as an appetizer or alongside a warm soup or salad.
Tips for Success
Cheese Variations: Try different cheeses such as mozzarella, provolone, or pepper jack for a change in flavor.
Add Vegetables: Add thinly sliced vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition and flavor.
Dipping Sauce: Serve with a side of marinara sauce, ranch dressing, or honey mustard for dipping.
Storage: Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
Cheesy crescent roll-ups are a versatile and crowd-pleasing dish that’s easy to customize with your favorite fillings. Whether for a party or a simple family snack, these tasty treats are sure to satisfy!
