Ingredients:
°2 lbs beef stew meat
°½ cup all-purpose flour
°1 tbsp seasoning salt
°2 t olive oil
°½ t black pepper
°1 onion, diced
°2 bay leaves
°¼ c Worcestershire sauce
°2 c of water
°2 heaping tsp beef demi-glace (or Swanson Flavor Boost beef)
°4 to large-skinned red potatoes, washed and diced
°3 large carrots, peel and slice
°1 stalk celery, diced
*PREPARATION:
Toss beef stew meat in resealable plastic bag with flour also seasoning salt. Heat olive oil in skillet; adding floured stew meat to skillet also brown on all sides. Removing with a slotted spoon or tongs also placing in bottom of slow cooker. Season with pepper. Sauté diced onion in same hot skillet for 2 mn. Transfering onions to slow cooker as well. Pour the Worcestershire sauce, water and beef demi-glace (or Swanson Flavor Boost) into the pan and whisk until combined, making sure to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan . Turning off heat also set apart. Add the diced potatoes, carrots, celery and bay leaves to the slow cooker. Now pour the broth/Worcestershire mixture into the slow cooker as well. Blanket; cook over low heat for 8 hours. Remove the bay leaves before serve
