– 4 salmon fillets (about 1 inch thick) – Salt and pepper from the mill
– 2 teaspoons of olive oil
– 2 cloves of garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup (65 ml) chicken broth
– 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice
– 3 tablespoons of butter, divided + 1 teaspoon of butter
– 1/2 teaspoon of honey – 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley
– Lemon wedges
Preparation:
Step 1
In a small pot, add a teaspoon of butter and heat over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 to 2 minutes.
2nd step
Add the chicken broth and lemon juice. Let the sauce reduce by about half (about 3 minutes).
Step: 3
Add the butter and honey and whisk until well incorporated. Put aside.
Step: 4
Season the salmon fillets well with salt and pepper.
Step: 5
Heat the olive oil over medium-high heat in a large saucepan.

Add the salmon and cook for about 4 minutes on one side and 2 to 3 minutes on the other.

Served with a generous drizzle of butter sauce. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
