Ingredients:
• 2 cups of graham cracker crumbs
• 1/2 cup of melted butter
• 4 packages (32 oz) of cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup of granulated sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 1 cup of sour cream
• 1 tsp of vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup of granulated sugar (for caramelizing)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F.
2. Mix the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter, then press the mixture into a springform pan to form the crust.
3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until it’s nice and smooth.
4. Add in the granulated sugar, eggs (one at a time), sour cream, and vanilla extract. Mix everything together until it’s well combined.
5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the prepared crust in the springform pan.
6. Pop it in the oven and bake for about an hour, until the cheesecake is set.
7. Once it’s done baking, let it cool down, then chill it in the fridge for at least 4 hours to let it set completely.
8. When you’re ready to serve, sprinkle the granulated sugar evenly over the top of the cheesecake, then use a torch to caramelize the sugar until it’s nice and golden.
9. Slice it up, serve it to your eager guests, and enjoy every decadent bite!
