Cheesy Skillet Bread

Ingredients:
2 cups of flour

1 cup of milk

1 egg

1 tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 ½ cups shredded cheese (mix of mozzarella and cheddar)

2 tbsp butter (melted)

Optional: herbs (oregano, thyme)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until combined.

Fold in 1 cup of shredded cheese into the batter.

Line your skillet or baking dish with parchment paper, then pour in the batter, spreading it evenly.

Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of shredded cheese on top for extra cheesy goodness.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let it cool slightly before serving.
