Ingredients:
For the Cake:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups granulated sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup buttermilk
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Frosting:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
4 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking pan.
Mix Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Wet Ingredients: Blend melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla. Gradually add to dry ingredients until smooth.
Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
Make Frosting: Beat butter, powdered sugar, buttermilk, and vanilla until fluffy.
Decorate: Spread frosting over the cooled cake and top with sprinkles. Slice and serve!
