INGREDIENTS
3 eggs;
200 g (1 cup) sugar;
1 teaspoon vanilla extract;
200 g (⅔ cup) yogurt;
280 g (2 cups) all-purpose flour;
16 g (2 tablespoons) baking powder;
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon;
2 apples;
30 g (2 tablespoons) melted butter.
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 170C/340F. Line a 16cm round cake tin with baking paper.
Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until pale and frothy.
Add yogurt and whisk until smooth.
Sift the flour separately and whisk it with the cinnamon and baking powder.
Mix wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
Peel and core an apple, cut it into cubes and add it to the dough.
Pour the batter and spread it evenly in the mold.
Place another apple, cored and thinly sliced, on top.
Pour the melted butter over it and bake the tart for 1 hour 30 minutes.
