Baked Mac and Cheese Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 lb elbow macaroni
3 tbsp butter
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp white pepper
1 tbsp Accent seasoning
1 cup evaporated milk
2 1/2 cups half and half
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded Muenster cheese
4 oz cream cheese, softened
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
Whisk in the flour, onion powder, salt, white pepper, and Accent seasoning until smooth.
Gradually add in the evaporated milk and half and half, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, Muenster cheese, and cream cheese to the saucepan and stir until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until the macaroni is coated in the sauce.
Pour the mac and cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
