This is a recipe that I have always loved. It is just a simple take on Mexican takeout. So simple, perfect for busy nights. This is even a dish that the whole family will enjoy. These are simply wraps filled with Nacho cheese and taco flavored beef. Of course you can add any toppings that you like, you can change up the meat, the cheese and add lots of other good items.
What I love to do with these after I make a large batch, is to slice the wraps and lay them on a serving plate as an appetizer. They also work amazingly if you want to make a shape of nachos with them. This appetizer goes over well for football parties, get-togethers or just for a lazy but delicious weekend dish.
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef 1 packet of taco seasoning mix 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup nacho cheese sauce 4 large flour tortillas Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced jalapeños, sour cream
Instructions:
Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until it’s fully browned and cooked through. Drain any excess grease from the skillet. Add the taco seasoning mix to the cooked ground beef according to the instructions on the packet. Stir well to ensure the beef is evenly coated with the seasoning. Warm the flour tortillas in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds, or until they are pliable. Assemble the wraps by spreading a generous spoonful of nacho cheese sauce onto each tortilla, leaving a border around the edges. Divide the seasoned ground beef evenly among the tortillas, spreading it out in a line down the center of each tortilla. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the ground beef on each tortilla. Add any optional toppings you desire, such as diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sliced jalapeños, or sour cream. To wrap the tortillas, fold in the sides first, then roll them up tightly from the bottom, tucking in the filling as you go. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Nacho Cheese Beef Wraps!
