Ingredients:
for 16 madeleines
100g of flour
100g melted butter
120 g of sugar
2 lightly beaten eggs
1/2 untreated orange or lemon zest
1/2 tsp baking powder
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 180°C
Mix all the ingredients together then let the dough rest in the fridge for 1 hour: this gives a nice bump to the cooking
Pour the dough into the previously buttered madeleine mold
Cook for 10 to 15 minutes, and when the hollow is formed, open the oven door a little to get nice bumps.
