No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars Recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 cups rolled oats

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp kosher salt

1 cup dark chocolate chips

3/4 cup chunky peanut butter

Instructions:

Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.

Over low heat, combine butter, brown sugar, and vanilla in a saucepan until smooth. Ensure the butter is melted and sugar dissolved.

Stir in oats, cinnamon, and salt. Continue heating for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Press half of the oat mixture into the prepared baking dish.

In a microwave-safe bowl, mix peanut butter and chocolate chips. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.

Spread most of the chocolate-peanut butter mixture over the oat layer in the dish, saving some for the top.

Add the remaining oat mixture on top, pressing gently. Drizzle the remaining chocolate mixture over it.

Chill in the refrigerator for 4-5 hours until set.

Cut into bars and serve.

Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
