Thumbprint Cookies Recipe

 

 

 

Ingredients.

 

2 cups all-purpose flour

¼ cup your favorite jam

1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

2/3 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ tsp kosher salt

⅓ cup sugar for rolling

Instructions:

 

Cream butter and 2/3 cup sugar in a mixer until light and fluffy.

Blend in vanilla and salt.

Gradually mix in flour to form the dough.

Chill the dough for an hour.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and prepare baking sheets.

Roll dough into balls, coat in sugar, and place on sheets.

Make an indentation in each cookie, fill with jam.

Bake for 14 minutes until golden. Cool before serving.
