These are seriously my fave! I love making them year round. Sadly, they never last long in our house

Ingredients:

2.75 cups sifted all-purpose flour

2 eggs

1 bag (10 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips

1.5 cups granulated sugar

1 cup softened butter

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

Cinnamon Sugar Mixture:

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Mix sifted flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.

In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.

Beat in eggs one at a time, ensuring full incorporation.

Gradually blend the dry mixture into the wet, mixing thoroughly.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

In a small bowl, combine cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar for the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Form dough into balls, then roll each in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Place the dough balls on a baking sheet, spaced apart.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden but centers remain slightly soft.

Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy these delightful Chocolate Chip Snickerdoodles, a perfect treat for any occasion!
