Slow Cooker Copycat Honey Baked Ham Recipe:
Ingredients:
8 lb spiral sliced, bone-in ham
1.5 cups granulated sugar
2 tbsp melted butter
3 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp each: seasoned salt, onion powder, nutmeg, cinnamon
1/4 tsp each: paprika, ground ginger, ground cloves
A hint of allspice
Directions:
Situate your ham in the slow cooker.
Blend honey with melted butter and lavish it over the ham.
Cook on low heat for around 4-5 hours. As you approach the end, ready your broiler.
Mix sugar with the spices, and gently sprinkle half over the ham.
Broil just long enough for a caramelized finish.
In a saucepan, blend the leftover sugar mix with ham juices and/or water. Adding bourbon is optional but recommended. Let it boil briefly.
Coat the ham with this glaze.
Give it another quick broil, but be watchful!
Once done, let it sit before serving.
