Ingredients :
500 g of peeled extra large shrimp
– Freshly ground black pepper
– 1/4 cup chopped fresh garlic
– 2 tablespoons of olive oil
– 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
– 1 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– Salt
– 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
– 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter, diced
– 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
– chopped fresh parsley soup: 1 spoon (optional)
Preparation for Hawaiian Shrimp with Butter and Garlic..
Using paper towels, pat shrimp dry of excess moisture on both sides. Place in a bowl.
Sprinkle with flour, paprika, cayenne pepper and salt and pepper to taste. Toss to coat evenly.
Melt the butter with the olive oil in a non-stick pan.
Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (but not browned).
Add the shrimp in an even layer to the pan. Cook them until the bottoms are pink, about 2 minutes.
Then flip and cook the other opposite side until cooked through, about 2 minutes more. Remove from heat, mix with lemon and garnish with parsley.
