Ingredients :
1 kg of potatoes
200 g of milk
200 g liquid cream (not for cooking)
150 g of cooked ham
150 g of Emmental (or mozzarella or other cheese)
Salt
Nutmeg
1 knob of butter

The potatoes must be peeled, washed and cut into thin slices.
In a non-stick frying pan, if using, gently heat the cream and milk. Then add the potatoes and season with salt and a pinch of nutmeg. Allow the mixture to cook over low heat for approximately ten minutes, ensuring that the potatoes reach a tender texture while avoiding complete cooking.
While the potatoes are cooking, the ham can be cut into strips and the cheese can be grated using a coarse grater.
