Corn nuggets are variations of the popular South American snack, corn fritters. Like corn fritters, corn nuggets’ primary ingredient is sweet corn, but the flavors are different.

Corn nuggets are often fried or deep-fried and seasoned in different ways: spicy, sweet and spicy, etc.
Ingredients:
°1 (11 ounce) can cream of corn
°1 (11 ounce) can whole corn, drained
°1/2 cup yellow corn flour
°cup all-purpose flour
°1 egg white
°2 tablespoons of milk
°Salt and pepper to taste
°3 cups of vegetable oil for frying
*Directions:
In a medium bowl, stir in the whipped corn and dry whole corn kernels. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil & coat with vegetable oil or cook spray. Place spoonfuls of the corn mixture on the tray and freeze for 3 hours, until firm.
Heat 1 inch of oil to 350°F (175°C) in a large deep fryer, or fill a deep fryer with oil as directed by the manufacturer.
Mix cornmeal, flour, egg whites, milk, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Dipping frozen corn cobs into batter, & fry in hot oil to golden brown. Removing to paper towels to drain.
