Homemade Garlic Bread
Ingredients:
4 large garlic cloves
1/4 cups fresh parsley
2 tablespoons oregano, fresh
2 teaspoons of salt
to taste of black pepper
1/2 cups olive oil
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 baguette bread, or cibatta bread
Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (190 centigrade). Put the garlic cloves, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper in a food processor. Process until finely chopped.
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over low heat. Add the garlic mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not red.
Cut the loaf lengthwise and spread the garlic-oil mixture on the bottom of the bread. Put the butter on the top of the baguette. Close the baguette and cover with aluminum foil. Cook in the oven for 15 minutes. Serve in slices. see less
