Pork and Potato Soup is a cold-weather staple here, easy to make in the slow cooker, and perfect for any leftover baked ham! A simple, flavorful soup full of potatoes, sweet carrots, and tender pork cooked in the slow cooker all day so dinner is ready when you are.
This slow-cooker ham and potato soup is perfect with our favorite 30-Minute Wrap with Fresh Kale Salad!
Few things are as comforting as a delicious creamy soup on a cold winter’s day! Better yet, come home to dinner after a long day of work or shopping!
I really like potato soup, it’s so comforting! A friend of mine made me a delicious ham and potato soup for lunch one day! It was a cold day and it warmed me up from the inside! (Thanks Dee, you are the best)!
Since then I have made this soup many times.
It’s always delicious and doesn’t last long here! This is one of those great first-day soups that is just as amazing leftovers… (And as long as you can cook once, twice is good here)!
Technically, you can think of this tasty soup as potato soup because it’s a thick, creamy, and usually chunky soup.
Whatever you call it, it’s absolutely delicious! While chowders often contain fish (like seafood chowder), they can contain a variety of vegetables or meats and still qualify as chowder (like slow-cooker corn chowder)!
