I am a fan of simplicity. Sometimes, it isn’t simple. I love shortcuts, don’t get me wrong, but for recipes like this one, the easy way puts you in control of what goes into your sausage balls. Here’s how to do it!
*Ingredients list:
°A teaspoon of dried parsley.
°1 1/4 cups self-rising flour.
°Half a teaspoon of salt.
°Half a tsp of black pepper.
°400 grams of crushed light sausage.
°2 tsp of melted butter.
°Half a tsp ground cayenne pepper.
°2 cups grated cheddar cheese, at room temperature.
*to prepare:
The first step
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Combine parsley, flour, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
The second step
Put the cheddar cheese, sausage and butter in a large bowl. Mix well. Mix the dry ingredients with your hands until blended after adding them.
The third step
To make 1-inch balls, cut off portions of the dough or use a small ice cream scoop to scoop them out. After rolling, place the dough on a baking sheet attached to a baking rack.
The fourth step
Bake for twenty-five minutes, or until the top is golden brown. After letting it cool, serve it with the dipping sauce of your choice.
Enjoy !
