°Half a cup of butter
°6 chicken legs quarters
°6 golden potatoes, cut into pieces
°24 cloves garlic,
°Salt & ground black pepper to taste
°¼ c maple syrup
*How to make
Heat the oven to 200°C.
Put butter in a frying pan and melt it in oven. When butter has melted, stir in a circular motion to coat the bottom of the pan and place the chicken thighs, thighs, potatoes and unpeeled garlic cloves in the pan. Sprinkling with salt and black pepper. Flipping chicken, potatoes, and garlic to coat with butter.
Bake in the preheated oven until the chicken inside has faded and the juices run clear, about 40 minutes, basting 3 times in the pan. Brushing chicken pieces with maple syrup & spoon broth over potatoes.
Return to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes, until the chicken and potatoes are cooked through and browned. An thermometer inserted to a thicker part of the thigh should read at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees C). To serving, squeeze the garlic from baked cloves, and brushing soft garlic over chicken. Pour juices on chicken and potatoes.
